What shipped at Booking Experts: September 2026, the parts the weekly digests missed

Booking Experts published its monthly PMS recap for September 2026 on 9 October. This covers the September release window, from the start of the month to the recap, and picks up only what the weekly digests did not already carry. Most of the month went out here as it landed, and those articles are linked at the end.
Two changes are worth a park operator's attention. Three are small enough that you only need to know they exist.
Energy labels, in bulk
Energy labels can now be updated across many objects at once. The object overview has new bulk actions for assigning them, and new filters isolate the objects that have a label and the ones that do not.
Before this, a label was a per-object edit. For a park with eighty chalets that is eighty clicks every time the ratings get refreshed, which is the kind of job that quietly never gets done.
The filter is the more useful half. Being able to list the objects with no energy label at all turns a compliance question you cannot answer into one you can, in about ten seconds. If your park advertises accommodation where a label is expected, run that filter once and see what comes back.
Floor plans for every type
Floor plans are now a standard feature for all accommodation types. Layouts can be configured without activating a module, and setup moves to a floor plan tab on each type.
This is a packaging change as much as a feature. Something that previously sat behind a module is now simply there, which removes both the cost question and the internal conversation about whether it is worth switching on.
Worth doing if you sell lodges or chalets with meaningfully different layouts at the same price. Guests asking which unit has the bedroom at the back is a phone call a floor plan answers for free. Booking Experts does not say whether the plan renders in the guest-facing booking flow or only internally, so confirm that before you commission drawings for forty units.
The smaller three
Guest and pet counts on the guest portal now have separate icons with hover detail, instead of being read off one combined figure. Clicking or hovering the booking number lets a guest copy their reference ID, which removes a transcription error from every support conversation that starts with a guest reading a number out loud.
Extras a guest bought previously now appear below the total price so they can add them again. That is a small upsell surface rather than a reporting change, and it is the one of the three that might show up in revenue. Parks selling bike hire or firewood should see whether repeat purchases move.
On the admin side, the cost detail page now shows a cost's preference configuration directly, with a row for the applicability rules, so you can see whether a cost applies to all objects or only to selected amenities without opening the edit form.
Already covered
Four things in the September recap have been reported here as they shipped, and they stay out of the list above.
The app store additions, including the Goboony and Glampingtips.nl channels through Qenner and the CampMap booking integration, were covered on 5 October. The DATEV Connector for German accounting and per-guest access cards, plus the guest portal photo galleries, the card layout refresh, cluster labels on reservation screens and the Spanish Nora chat, were covered on 29 September. Valoma and Recras, and the invoice number search, were covered on 22 September.
The week 40 digest on 6 October repeated the pet count and energy label items from this recap and relisted CampMap, so there is nothing additional in it.
The pattern
Booking Experts now publishes weekly digests, a monthly PMS recap and a monthly app store recap, and they overlap. The recap is not a summary of the digests, it is a partly different set, which means reading only one of the three leaves gaps. If you track releases yourself, the monthly PMS recap is the one that catches what the weeks left out.
No plan availability or pricing is stated for any of this. Booking Experts does not publish that with releases, so ask if a specific item matters to your setup.
