OwnerRez is retiring the Lynnbrook via BridgePay connection on 30 November

OwnerRez has told accounts that take card payments through Lynnbrook Group via BridgePay that the connection stops working on 30 November 2026. From that date, existing connections will no longer accept new payments or security deposits.

The notice went out on 21 October, the same day as the release that closed five other payment processors to new connections. The reason given is the same: payment security and PCI DSS compliance work, and a decision to keep only the gateways whose technology meets the current standard.

Lynnbrook itself is not going anywhere

It is worth being precise about what is being retired, because the wording matters. BridgePay is the gateway. Lynnbrook Group is the processor, and OwnerRez says it remains a recommended payment processing partner.

So the message is not to go and find a new processor. It is to stay with Lynnbrook if you want to, on a different supported gateway. OwnerRez points affected accounts at Lynnbrook first, naming Caleb Fordham or your existing Lynnbrook representative as the contact, before deciding anything else. If you would rather move elsewhere, OwnerRez's list of supported processors and gateways is the other route.

The bit that will catch people out

"No longer accept new payments or security deposits" is doing a lot of work in that sentence.

This is not only about bookings made after 30 November. Scheduled payments on reservations you already hold, and security deposit holds due to be taken after that date, run through the same connection. A guest arriving in December on a booking made in September, with a balance due two weeks before arrival and a deposit hold at check in, is exactly the case that breaks.

So the job is not finished when the new gateway is connected. OwnerRez's own steps say as much: establish the new connection, assign it to the right properties, review your payment settings, then check upcoming bookings for scheduled payments or security deposits that need attention. The last of those is the one people skip, and it is the one that produces a failed charge on a stay you have already confirmed.

Where this fits

This is the second payments announcement from OwnerRez in a week. On 21 October it also closed OpenEdge to new connections, stopped new Payeezy, USAePay, eProcessing Network and Plug'n Pay connections outright, and set a December deadline for Bambora users to move to Shift4. The five processor notices on 19 October carried a 30 November replacement deadline of their own.

Taken together, OwnerRez is narrowing itself down to a short list of card routes it intends to maintain. If you are on a legacy gateway that has not been named yet, the pattern is clear enough to plan around rather than wait for your own email to arrive.
