OwnerRez has added an integration with HostIQ, a forecasting and reporting tool aimed at short-term rental operators. It was announced on the OwnerRez blog on 20 October, in the partnerships category.
HostIQ describes itself as a business intelligence and revenue growth platform built by working short-term rental operators. It produces revenue, occupancy and ADR forecasts per property, lets you set targets against them and tracks how the property performs against those targets. There is a guest relationship module for outreach and repeat bookings, and an assistant called Ask HostIQ that answers questions about revenue and the business on demand.
The pricing, because it is the part that decides this
HostIQ is not bundled into any OwnerRez plan. It is billed separately and it is billed per property.
The first property is $14.99 a month. Each additional property is $10.99 a month. There is a 30-day free trial. Operators who sign up through the OwnerRez launch keep that partner pricing for their first 24 months, and a 12-month commitment includes two months free. Every customer gets the same feature set regardless of how many properties they have.
Per-property pricing on a reporting tool adds up quickly. Ten properties works out at roughly $114 a month, or about $1,370 a year, on top of what you already pay OwnerRez. Fifty properties would be well over $6,000 a year. For a tool whose job is to tell you how your revenue is doing, that is a number worth holding against the decisions it would actually change.
The 24-month window is also worth noting. Launch pricing held for two years is a real discount, but OwnerRez does not say what the price becomes in month 25, and HostIQ's standard rate is not quoted anywhere in the announcement.
What the announcement does not cover
How the integration works. The post says the two products connect and points to a separate OwnerRez support article for the steps, without describing what syncs, in which direction, or how often. Operators evaluating this will want to know whether HostIQ is reading bookings continuously or on a schedule, and whether anything is written back into OwnerRez.
There are also no quotes and no named spokespeople from either company, which is a reasonable signal that this is a partner listing rather than a strategic announcement.
Check the overlap first
OwnerRez already reports on occupancy, revenue and ADR, and it opened its MCP server to all customers earlier this month, which means an operator can already ask ChatGPT or Claude questions about their own bookings without paying anyone extra. Ask HostIQ covers similar ground.
The genuine gap HostIQ fills is forward-looking: forecasts and goal tracking per property, rather than reports on what already happened. If you are currently building that in a spreadsheet off OwnerRez exports, this is worth the 30-day trial. If you mostly want better answers about historical performance, run the free options first and see what is actually missing before adding a per-property subscription.
Sign-up is at hostiq.ai, and OwnerRez has published a support article covering the connection steps.
