Stayntouch connects Staklio so condo hotel owner settlements run without middleware

Stayntouch has built a direct integration with Staklio, owner management software for hotels and resorts where individual units are privately owned and pooled for rental. The connection is live now.

The point of the integration is that it is direct. Reservation data moves from the Stayntouch PMS into Staklio without third-party middleware in between, which removes a layer that condo hotel operators have historically had to buy, maintain and blame when the numbers disagreed.

What it actually does

Reservation data flows from Stayntouch into Staklio automatically. Settlements are then calculated there, with commissions, cleaning fees and expenses applied without manual entry. Each settlement moves through draft, approved, sent and paid, so there is an audit trail rather than a spreadsheet and an email.

Owners get a dashboard showing gross revenue, deductions and net payout for their unit, plus occupancy, ADR and RevPAR. They can request their own stays through the portal, and the operator can cap those with per-unit night limits or a credit budget. The portal carries the property's logo and colours rather than Staklio's.

Pieter Baecke, founder and chief executive of Staklio, said "transparency is the foundation of that relationship", referring to the one between operator and owner.

Priya Rajamani, senior vice president of implementations and support at Stayntouch, framed the launch against short-term rental competition, arguing that traveler expectations have shifted and hotels need more ways to compete for that demand.

The caveats

No pricing is given, and no launch date beyond availability now. There are no adoption figures and no named customer using the pairing yet.

One small thing worth noting: the release says Stayntouch offers more than 1,400 integrations, while the sidebar on the same page says 1,200. Treat vendor integration counts as marketing rather than inventory.

Staklio is a smaller and newer name than Stayntouch. If you are evaluating this, the questions are the ordinary ones about a specialist dependency. Who holds the owner data. What happens to your settlement history if the contract ends. Whether the per-unit stay limits are enforced at the point of booking or reconciled afterwards.

What it means for operators

This is aimed at a specific business: condo hotels, mixed-ownership resorts and management companies running individually owned units in a rental pool. Ski and beach markets are the obvious ones.

If that is you, owner settlement is probably the most manual finance process you run and the one that generates the most disputes. Automating the calculation and giving owners their own view of it addresses both at once.

If it is not you, this is not a general Stayntouch feature and there is nothing here to action.
