Hostify connects to Wunderflats, opening a mid-term rental channel across Europe

Hostify has added an integration with Wunderflats, a European platform for furnished rentals of one month or longer. The connection is live now, and it gives Hostify customers a distribution channel outside the usual short-term rental sites.
Hostify published the update in September without a specific date on the post.
Wunderflats matches property managers and landlords with verified tenants looking for furnished homes in major European markets. The typical booker is an international professional, a corporate relocation, or a student, and the typical stay runs for months rather than nights.
Hostify's stated case for it is straightforward: reach a different kind of guest, generate demand for mid-term stays, reduce vacancies and seasonal gaps, and depend less on Airbnb and Booking.com.
Why mid-term is being offered to short-term managers
Mid-term demand behaves differently from nightly demand. One booking can cover six or eight weeks, which flattens a season rather than filling a weekend. For a portfolio with a clear low season, a city flat empty in February or a coastal property dead outside summer, one 60-night tenant can beat a scattering of short bookings and cost almost nothing to service.
The operational profile is different too. Fewer arrivals means fewer turnovers, less laundry, less key handling and fewer cleaning slots to fill. It is also less revenue per night, which is the trade.
There is a reason this keeps coming up now. Short-term rental rules in a lot of European cities cap nightly letting or require registration, while longer furnished lets often sit outside those caps. A mid-term channel is one of the few ways to keep a restricted property earning.
What to check before connecting
Setup does not run entirely inside Hostify. To connect an account you submit a request through Wunderflats and their team helps you get started, so expect a manual onboarding step rather than a switch you flip.
Hostify has not published the detail of what syncs. Whether availability, rates and bookings all flow both ways, and how a multi-month booking lands in your calendar against your minimum stay rules, are questions to put to both sides before you list a property.
Then check two things that have nothing to do with software. A tenancy of a month or more can fall under residential rental law rather than hospitality law, depending on the country and the city, which affects deposits, notice, tax treatment and who is responsible for what. And your insurance may treat a long furnished let differently from a holiday booking.
None of that is a reason to skip the channel. It is a reason to look at it properly on one or two properties before you point a portfolio at it.
The wider picture
This is the second channel of its kind to appear in a mainstream PMS recently. Mid-term distribution is becoming a standard line item rather than a specialist choice, and vendors are adding it because their customers are being squeezed at the short end by regulation and by softer nightly demand.
For Hostify customers with a low season they have never solved, this is worth a look now rather than in January.
