Multi-property PMS

A property management system built so one organisation can run several properties from a single database and a single login, rather than running a separate installation per site.

The distinction matters because plenty of systems will happily host ten properties as ten unrelated accounts. A genuine multi-property setup shares the things a group needs to share.

What you should get

  • One guest profile across the estate. A guest who stayed at the beach resort is recognised at the city hotel.
  • Group-level reporting. Occupancy, ADR and RevPAR roll up across properties without exporting each one and merging by hand.
  • Central rate and policy control. Head office can set a rate structure or a cancellation policy once and push it down.
  • Cross-property rights. A reservations agent can see and book availability at a sister property.

What to check before buying

Ask how the system handles properties in different currencies, tax regimes and languages, and whether reporting consolidates across them. Ask whether a property can keep local control of its own rates. And ask what the migration looks like, because the saving is real but the cost of moving several properties' history into one database is the part that rarely appears in the pitch.
